Hey guys! It’s your girl Viola, and I am back! If your wondering why I was gone, I just completed my Health and Safety exam which was quite difficult, and I just couldn’t find the time to study for that and keep up a blog, so I just decided to take some time off to do that and to just take a breather. But I have returned now so happy days!
As you know it’s Halloween and I don’t really dress up in costumes, but I LOVE doing facepaint makeup looks, and these are some of my personal favourites.
1. Scratch Cuts
This is a great tutorial by Nadine Mayerhofer on YouTube. To get the 3D affect she uses liquid latex which I did see at my local Supermarket when I went to buy white face paint and fake blood. I didn’t buy it though because I am allergic to the powder in latex gloves so I didn’t know how I would react to it. When I tried this look I used red and brown eyeshadow and fake blood which dries.
2. The Chelsea Smile
If you like the more gory and realistic looking face makeup then this is perfect for you. This Chelsea Smile was made by goldiestarling and she uses 3rd degree silicone modeling compound which you can buy online.
3. The Slasher Masher
This Freddie vs Jason combo was created by Madeyewlook and she is awesome! If you love scary movies she has tutorials for Billy from Saw, Chucky and more, or if you like less scary things you can check out her tutorials for Anna from Frozen, emoji faces, snapchat filters and many more.
4. The Melting Skull Face
This is by Desi Perkins and it is incredible looking. I tried this look and it went so well.
That’s all for now guys!
Viola over and out xxx
